Abolition bill narrowly passes Colorado House

The bill passed third reading and final passage on a vote of 33 yes – 32 no. HB 1274 goes to the Colorado Senate for consideration. The bill repeals the states death penalty and dedicates funding to solve cold cases. (PDF)
